- Manayara povie sestre nyasha že bude kráľovná jeden deň, a nyasha bude jej sluha. Nyasha zasadila záhradu a spriatelí sa so záhradným hadom, ktorý láskyplne pomenuje Nyoka.

- ZAČIATOK
- The most worthy and beautiful daughters in the land are invited, and the king will choose his queen.
- Skoro ráno posol prichádza z mesta, hovorí Mufaro že veľký kráľ praje si vybrať ženu. Pripravujú sa na cestu do mesta.

- MIDDLE
- Choď mi z cesty, psík. Zajtra sa stanem tvojou kráľovnou.
- Please, I am so very hungry.
- Manayara vyplíží na cestu do samotného mesta, aby porazil jej sestru. Po ceste stretne hladného chlapca a starenku, na ktoré je hrubá.

- Ďakujem.
- Na druhý deň, nyasha, jej otec, a svadobné party hlavu, ako sa plánovalo. Nyasha naráža na rovnakých ľudí a je k nim láskavá.

- Oh môj bože!
- They find Manayara sobbing at the city gate. She tells them of a cruel snake with five heads, but Nyasha goes ahead anyway. When she arrives at the king’s chamber, she sees her garden snake friend, Nyoka, and he changes shape into the king!

- He tells Nyasha that he was her garden snake friend, the hungry boy, and the old woman, and that because she was so kind, she is the most beautiful daughter in the land. They get married and Nyasha becomes the queen, with her sister Manayara as a servant in the household.
