- Good morning , Joy, I have never worked on that unit before. I don't feel competent to work in that area.
- There are some aspects of your experience that can be used on unit B. Just let the nurse on that unit know of what aspects of care and be specific of what care you can provide.

- The Nurse is accountable for administering the medication to the wrong patient, as she reported the error. As she will take accountability for her negligence.
- The Nurse is accountable to her employer and the patients . She is accountable for telling the manager that she is not competent to provide all aspects of care.
- The nurse going to a different unit , it is her accountability to her employer and patients as she was scheduled for the shift. Once she tells the nurse what are the skills she can provide. The assignment can be modified to provide the care she is competent to do.
