- The Ordinary World
- Meet Diana Garcia -- a conscientious, young woman whose intelligence and beauty surpassed those of her peers. Despite her popularity, she only had a few select friends she trusted. And when it came to love, it was even harder for her to trust. She, however, as normal as she might seem, had a secret: she could see people's pasts, whether they liked it or not, when she touched them. Sometimes, her friends would even joke around that her superhero name was "Psykrono".

- Ever since birth, Diana always had two best friends: Alex and Josh. Alex Alonzo was a handsome, smart, sporty guy and all the girls wanted him, but he only loved Diana and no one else. Josh Romero was kind and sweet, always ready to lend help to Diana whenever she needed it.

- One day, after several months of courting Diana and trying to make her fall in love with him, Alex finally asked her the question he had been holding in all this time -- and luckily for him, received the answer he had hoped for.

- Unfortunately, as fate would have it, one gloomy September morning, the police came knocking on Diana's door. They had heartbreaking news to bear -- her boyfriend of one year, Alex Alonzo was just found in his apartment, stabbed ten times by an unknown attacker.

- We're so sorry, ma'am...

- The following day, Diana, along with Josh, attended Alex's funeral at the Alonzos' house. To see her love in his casket... it was a torturous sight she wouldn't ever be able to forget. Alex's family, like her, were devastated and were sobbing. Even though Josh's arm was around her, it brought little to no comfort, especially with the anguish in her heart.

- A few hours later, Diana snuck off to Alex's bedroom, tears stinging at her eyes as she saw a picture of the two of them on his wall. Who could do something like this? Everyone loved Alex; he was fun-loving, charming and lively. Breathing in deeply, she said to herself...
- I promise you, my love... I'll find the monster that did this.
- Diana... will you be my girlfriend?
- Alex, I thought you'd never ask! YES!!!
