- The falling action of the book is when ghost finally gets on the team and the coach buys him the track shoes that he stole. Ghost was very thankful that the coach was able to buy the shoes for him. after that the coach gave Ghost his uniform so he can run. Ghost is very excited that he is on the team and he gets to run in a track meat.
- A symbol from this story is the symbol of the silver shoes that Ghost stole from the shoe store. I think this is a symbol that Ghost shoplifted the shoes and he didn't pay for them. it is also a symbol of Ghost wanted to impress people and that he has real track shoes. His old shoes were high tops and he wanted to show them that he was cool too.
- The resolution for this story is at the track meet at the end of the book. Ghost and Lu are about to run in the same race and ever body is excited. I think that this is a good resolution because it leaves you on a cliff hanger. Finally they all get ready and boom, the race starts.
