- John was on his way to his meeting, he is about to board the bus, as john boards the bus he sets an implied contract that if he boards he will pay. Not much conversation is said accept a simple "thank you" because it is implied
- Lawful
- John meets Eric and they discuss the sale of a car. They agree to meet up at a coffee shop in a few days.
- Consideration/ Mutual Agreement
- The cost of the car would be $30,000. The car is in good working condition, it has 15 000 km on it right now. would you agree this is fair?
- John had just arrived at the coffee shop to meet Eric to discuss the details of the car. When he arrives he orders something to eat. He makes an oral contract between him and the employ to trade money for the food.

- The contact between the worker at the coffee shop was lawful because there was no illegal parts to it and both sides got what hey wanted in the trade.

- After john got his coffee he met with Eric and they had a conversation promising and agreeing for the trade - consideration.They made a mutual agreement by agreeing on the terms of the contract. They planned to later meet to write up the contract.

- Before John went to go meet with Eric he stopped to by groceries. This is a contract you may not know was that you encounter in your everyday life. John and the worker are both fully sane and sober and are in their right minds to make the right decisions - Competency.
