- In his story "Harrison Bergeron," Kurt Vonnegut makes the point that people should be allowed to have free will. The reality of everyone seeing everyone as equal sounds amazing, but in reality who knows it will happen. This story kind of shows a reality where everyone is forced to be equal through devices and technology which is completely unreasonable and completely ruins society. I think it can be seen as a story to make a person reflect on themselves and think about how they want their countries future to turn out.
