  • Battle of Saratoga had the British outnumbered around 2 patriot soldiers per one British and we won in a open field battle.
  • Baron von Steuben had taught the Continental army Discipline and Grit while at Vally Forge.
  • Initially the British had won the battle on Bunker Hill, however the battle, while being a lost for the Patriots and Continental army gave them a boost in inspiration to take out the British once and for all.
  • Even though they had signed their Independence from the British, They still fought until the Battle of York town where the American Revolutionary War had ended, in October 19, 1781.
