- When I was younger and didn't know much about how school would be later on, I really did enjoy when my teacher Mrs. Guzman would read aloud and have us all gather around her. When books were just pleasant to read without having to worry about taking quizzes on them was the only time i would actually put all my attention too.

- As I grew up and was able to understand the importance of books, i did have a teacher named Mrs. Yanez which made me hate reading to the point where I didn't even care about opening a book. The only reason i ended up hating books was because she would always encourage everyone to read books, since she would believe in them and that they were capable of becoming Million A.R readers. I never got her encouraging words since she would always just skip me and would just look at me and then pass by.

- I've never been good at essays and I've never particularly like writing them. The only time I actually liked writing essays was in fourth and fifth grade, but only because my teacher was so supportive and constantly pushed me to perform better. She had a lasting effect on me because she consistently taught me the fundamentals of how to begin an essay and how to grab the attention of the reader.

- I continued to dislike reading during my middle school years (grades 6–7) because I felt as though my 4th and 5th grade teacher had convinced me that I would never be intelligent enough to understand a book. Her actions did impact me in a bad way and i can say that till this day i haven't forgotten the way she would be towards me.
- ME EITHER, WE COULD JUST GO BUY ICECREAM RIGHT AFTER CLASS.
- My 8th grade year, i did have a teacher named Mrs. Guerrero who always cared about books and even had her own books that she enjoyed and would only lend to those students who she taught where capable of actually reading them. I did end up reading all her favorite books, i actually did end up becoming a Million A.R reader since she would always push me into doing the things I taught I wasn't capable of.

- As a high school student and as the college student i am, reading has become one of my favorite things to do on my free time, but writing hasn't really been something that i can say I'm really good at. Additionally, people who really made a difference in my education was my 4th and 5th grade English teacher, who helped me understand the concepts of writing and my 8th grade teacher who made me have a passion into reading books.
