- The Taj Mahal is built in memory of the passing of Shan Jahah's Wife,Mumtaz Mahal.It Construction almost took 16years from 1632 to 1638.The significance of this tomb is that it was recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings during this time period and for it to be built during this time is special.
