- Unfortunately, the explosion exposed you both to hazardous material. We were unsure how you would react to the impact, so we have been monitoring your vitals and testing your blood to learn more.

- I am going to teach you how to use your powers. You see the material you were hit with was from an old experiment of mine.
- I was trying to find a way to merge human DNA with animal and insect DNA so humans could have more desirable features. However, the experiment went wrong and I was forced to destroy all of my work before anything catastrophic happened. Before I could do anything, one of my subjects broke free and stole my work. I heard someone spotted her around the steel stacks so I went to check it out. That's when I saw you two. Unfortunately, when you were hit with the material you were exposed to parts of my experiment and as a result may gain a variety of super human abilities.
- What happened to you both is because of me. I promise I will do everything in my power to help you understand and control your powers. Please, come with me to my lab so we can begin your training.
