- eckles and the others are nervous
- Eckles is going to travel through time to go on a safari to shoot dinosaurs

- The company told Eckels that time travels is dangerous, and safety is not guaranteed
- falling Action
- Eckels and the rest of the crew got into the time machine and travel back sixty million, two thousand and fifty-five years ago. Travis reminds the hunters stay on the path. don't go off it....for any reason
- Resolution
- eckels and so amazed and frightened by thr T-Rex that he is unable to shoot it. lesperance tells Eckels to hide in the game machine, but eckels goes the wrong way and steps off the path.
- when hunters return to the present, everything has changed. the present, the sign, everything....
- Eckels looks down at his boots and sees a dead butterfly stuck to the bottom and they realize he has changed the future. travis, furious, aims his weapon at eckels and there is a sound of thunder
