- Don't worry, I want to help you. The Croatoans are that way. That's where the rest of your white tribe are.

- You made it!
- After that day, the Roanoke colony lived peacefully once more, but now we were Croatoans because that is the name of the tribe who saved us.

- The sunset is beautiful today, Sissy!
- LIESEL: For some reason, a boy from the native tribe helped us out. of course, he could be leading us into a trap, but we had no choice. We would die if we stayed here alone, so it was a chance we had to take.

- LIESEL: We walked for ages in the direction he pointed, and by the end of the day, we finally made it! The Croatoans were happy to give us homes and we even found some of the members in our tribe! Mummy, Daddy, we made it!

- LIESEL: Nobody knows what became of John White, but I'm sure he was baffled by our abandoned buildings and the word in the tree. And who knows? Maybe he never did come back, or that tree was struck by lightning and he never found out what became of us. Perhaps someone from the future will find out. Otherwise, it will be forever unsolved mystery.

- LIESEL: Seems like The Future did find out the truth. Or at least, it got quite close! I think that's a good thing. You can't make a whole colony disappear, is what mummy said. It should be understood that we are not a failed colony. But we'll always be a reminder that "this" is what happens when you send settlers to a place where they are not welcome.
