  • Same here, I can choose who I want to be the president through an election.This country wouldn't have a good leader or have a leader if it weren't for the citizens because they vote for the president
  • I am so happy that I live in Turkey; a democracy where I can vote for who I want to run the country!

  • Sarah: I wish I could vote for the leader of the country, but the leader can only be in the royal family and they make all the decisions. Steve: I understand, that just how it is here in Saudi Arabia. In a democracy they can vote for the leader, would you want to move?

  • Tatum: Would you rather live in a democracy or autocracy? Macie: I would rather live in an parliamentary democracy. Tatum: I would rather a presidential democracy because I have the freedom to vote for who I want to run the country and the lawmaker. In a parliament democracy, the citizens elect the lawmaker and the legislature choose the head of state. Macie: Well I change my mind, I want to live in a presidential democracy.
