  • A man named Mike wakes up late for work because he stayed up late with friends. He rushed to get dressed for work. He woke up frantic and was extremely stressed!
  • Mike is thinking ofexcuses to explain why he was late for work to his boss.
  • Hello Mike, I see you decided to show up. What’s the problem, why’d you come in late?
  • “I apologize sir, traffic this morning was terrible, I promise,I wont let it happen again!
  • Mike was feeling overwhelmed and stressed due to work. He decided to take his break and go on a walk to clear his mind and try to relieve himself of his stress.
  • On the ride home Mike reflects on his behavior and realizes that he needs to develop a growth mindset to improve himself.
  • When Mike gets home his friend calls and ask him to hang out tonight. He declines and explains that he’s working on his personal growth and is trying to stay focused on work.
