Roger Sherman
Signed all three major documents that freed the colonies from British rule. Appointed by the Continental Congress to the committee to draft the Declaration of Independence, he reviewed and edited the drafts. He signed his name on the document and urged delegates to sign the Constitution. Franklin made the great compromise possible and negotiated the treaty of Paris.
Patrick Henry served in the Virginia house of delegates and was a major figure in the American revolution. He was part of creating the Articles of Confederation Convention and was against the idea of a strong government.
Roger Sherman helped to draft the Declaration of Independence. He was elected into the Continental Congress in 1774 and served on the committee which formed the Articles of Confederation.
