- When you bring a girl to America, she will probably need some help.
- Her aunt will pretend to help her and her mother by finding an apartment for them.
- When she moves into her apartment, she will realize that she needs money to pay for it.
- Her aunt will give her and her mother a job at her sweatshop.
- When she isn’t working at the sweatshop, she will be going to a new school.
- Even though she was a top student back in China, she is going to have trouble at her new American school.

- To improve her American schoolwork, she will need to learn English.
- While she learns English, she will make a new friend.
- Eventually her English will improve, and she will be one of the top students again.

- She even will get a scholarship to a prestigious high school with her friend.
- When she goes to high school, she will spend all her time studying and working. She might get so carried away working and studying that she won’t be able to go to any social events. She may even miss her best friend’s play!
- Despite her intentions, she will fall in love with a boy who works at her sweatshop.
- Although it may take them some time, they will eventually begin to date.
- Meanwhile, she will become an official American citizen.
- Now that she is an American citizen, she will apply to college and receive a full scholarship to Yale.
- Congratulations!
- She’ll have to postpone attending Yale though because she is pregnant.
- She will break up with her boyfriend, have her baby, and with the help of her friend, move with her mother into a better apartment.
- After all this, she will become a pediatric cardiac surgeon because chances are, when you bring a girl to America, she will want to help other people.
