If blackworms are placed in a petri dish with sand, gravel/small rocks, leaf litter, and spring water,I think the 50% of the blackworms will go to the leaf litter causes the blackworms could eat it. And the other 50% will go to the small rocks would make as a shelter.
Now we need 10 black worms and then we need to make the patir dish with the materials.
leaves
sand
rocks
worms
The blackworms seemed to prefer the rocks mostly like there were 16 in total. 14 of the blackworms in total went to the leaves and 0 of the blackworm went to the sand. Also 0 of the blackworm went to just water so mostly 16 of the blackworms went the rocks, 14 went to leaves,0 of them went to just the water.
The claim was leaves are the best habitat materials for the black worms. 16/30 worms went to the rocks.14/30 worms went to the leaves.0/30 worms went to the sand. 0/30 worms stayed in plain water.
It makes sense that many of the blackworms would go to the leaves because the leaves are one of many of the food source. Also black worms eat mostly algae and bacteria as well as leaves and wood or other dead or decaying plants. And it was hard in the video that to suck up form the part from the leaves part the pipet so that they will not leave.
