- He was happy to earn money through his own skill although it was utter bitterness thay he had to endure rehearsals despite the outward disapproval of his aunt who was againts his chosen field. She thought musicians are no better than dogs scurrying to get their mouths on food scraps in trash bins for they are always the last ones to eat at every party. But he didn't mind thinking that the money he'll earn from playing the violin will allow him to buy a brooch and Beautiful stationery for his ardent love letters to aida so he could profess his love for her.
- "What do you want to be a musician for? At parties, musicians always eat last"
- Unfortunately, his plans weren't materialized. A defining moment happened when their band was chosen to perform during the grand surprise party in the old spanish house. You sent Afraid of being late to their commitment, they arrived early at the venue without eating supper at all. The band rendered music for hours and it was already midnight when they were given a break to eat.
