The Pearl
Storyboard Text
- Kino and Juana have a regular morning, the song of the family is heard by Kino.
- The song of the evil appears, Coyotito gets stung by a scorpion.
- Kino and Juana take their baby to the doctor, but the doctor refuses to treat Coyotito. Kino has no money for the treatment
- No money no treatment
- Kino finds the pearl of the world. He hopes to use his riches to get new clothes, a rifle, and an education for Coyotito
- Kino thinks about all the things that he could do with the pearl's fortune.

- After the doctor treats Coyotito. Kino has to pay the doctor so he goes to sell his pearl, but unfortunatly the dealers try to cheat him
- Hey your not being fair, your cheating me.
- You heard of fool's gold
- This pearl is worth nothing, it's a monstrosity
- Bad things happen and Juana tries to throw the pearl away, but Kino snatches the pearl from her hand and attacks her.
- Someone breaks Kino's canoe, Kino and Juana's hut is on fire. Kino has killed a man they must leave the town greed and avarice has been unbearable
- Kino and Juana try to sell the pearl in the capital. Kino realized he is being followed by trackers.
- Kino has an idea how he can loose the trackers Juana will hide in the cave with Coyotito. and he can get the trackers a far away as possible
- When Kino attempts to attack the trackers when he finally found them. Yet at the same moment Coyotito and a gunshot are heard. Kino comes back to discover his son has been shot.
- Kino decides to throw away the pearl, he feels guilty. There brightest days were behind them.
