- God wanted to bring blessing to the world so he did that through a man called Abram. God promises to Abram, that he will have many descendants, blessing those who bless him and a country/ land for his offspring.
- God did keep his promise because Abram did end up having tons of descendants but the problem was that his descendants all ended up becoming slaves in Egypt. So god sent a man called moses TO LET HIS PEOPLE GO!!
- we don't need god
- The descendants of Abram eventually ,made it to the promise land but instead of obeying god and living his way they all decided to worship different idols instead.
- YAYYYYYYY
- The people asked for a king so god created one his name was david god promised david that his descendants will rule forever. this king would sooner be known as the "Christ" or "Messiah".
- most kings after david rejected god. Who led the israelites to worship other idols. God was open to forgive his people so he sent prophets to warn them or they will be set into Exile.
- The israelites ignored god warnings and continues to worship other idols . So god sent judges to begin the time of the judges.
