Storyboard Text

  • After Theseus escaped from King Minos's labyrinth, the person who made the labyrinth Daedalus and his son Icarus, King Minos was enraged and locked them both up in a high tower.
  • Daedalus said "King Minos may control the land and sea but he does not control the wind." He told his son to find all the feathers on the shore.
  • Go my son, get feathers for me.
  • After gathering all the feathers they used the wax and made wings from the birds skeleton. When Daedalus said King Minos could control the land and sea, he couldn't control the wind. They made wings and glided throughout the sky.
  • They were ready to fly, but Daedalus warned his son Icarus that if he flies to high the wax on his wings will melt and if he flies to low then the fog will clog up your wings.
  • They were soaring through the sky having so much fun, until Icarus decided to go even higher than he should've. Daedalus tried to call him back, but Icarus couldn't hear him and kept going higher and higher.
  • When Icarus's wings were gone, he fell into the water. Daedalus tried to save him but it was too late. People congratulated him for escaping, but he was still sad that he lost his only son.
  • Congratulations you escaped King Minos!
