Storyboard Text

  • After Lord Capulets meltdown, Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence's cell. After the friar finds out that Juliet would rather die then live without Romeo, the Friar hatches a plan. Juliet will drink a poison that puts her in a 48 hour coma. When she wakes up, Romeo will be there to rescue her and flee, or so it seemed...
  • My dismal scene I needs must act alone. Come, vial. What if this mixture do not work at all? Shall I be married then tomorrow morning? No, no. This shall forbid it. Lie thou there. What if it be a poison, which the friar Subtly hath ministered to have me dead, Lest in this marriage he should be dishonored Because he married me before to Romeo? ... Romeo, Romeo, Romeo! Here’s drink. I drink to thee.
  • And then she died (or looked like it). Her parents walk into the room to wake her up and see the tragedy of Juliets "death".
  • Death, which has taken her away to make me cry, now ties up my tongue and won’t let me speak.
  • Curse the day! She’s dead, she’s dead, she’s dead!
  • Everything was going as planned, and Juliet was laid to rest in the Capulet vault. However, there was a wrench in the plan. Balthazar viewed the funeral and informed Romeo, who hadnt gotten the letter yet from Friar Lawrence,. Romeo went into the vault to say goodbye a last time...
  • Come, bitter conduct, come, unsavoury guide. Thou desperate pilot, now at once run on The dashing rocks thy seasick, weary bark. Here’s to my love! *Romeo drinks poison* O true apothecary, Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.
  • And thus, with the drink, Romeo was dead... But Juliet wakes up to see Romeo and the friar, and Friar Lawrence warns her to leave. He leaves, however, Juliet stays behind..
  • What’s here? A cup, closed in my true love’s hand? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end.— O churl, drunk all, and left no friendly drop to help me after? I will kiss thy lips. Haply some poison yet doth hang on them, To make me die with a restorative.
  • Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger, This is thy sheath. There rust and let me die.
