- During the silk road trade, there was an increasing demand and desire for luxurious goods due to more wealth. This wealth was obtained through the silk roads. What caused this increased trade was the political stability of the economies. Since peace proceeds prosperity, the states were secure to further expand their territories and trade without any harm.

- I've heard the roman emperor demand our magnificent silk. Please expedite the process.

- Merchant gathers the silk, porcelain, steel, gunpowder, and paper and carefully carries them with him on his camel.

- The growth of exchange along the trade routes resulted in commercial innovations which supported flow of commerce, caravanserai and caravans that promoted security, and cultural exchange and diffusion.
