- Hippolyta! Well met, indeed. How are you getting along with Theseus?
- I am content. Even happy. When we were negotiating at the end of the war, I was afraid the best I could hope for was that my marriage would be a sort of armed truce.
- We women royal know where our duty lies. I remember feeling much the same when Oberon made an offer for my hand.
