- Our Experience and Final Thoughts
- We are very grateful for this experience because we got to learn a lot from it. It was an enriching tour that will live with us forever. Getting to learn about these topics on a field trip is way more exciting than just reading about them from a textbook in a classroom. Something that caught our attention is that we got to learn about important buildings that maybe we had passed by before but never paid attention to them. Buildings such as Basílica de los Ángeles or the Embassy of Mexico were our favorites.
- Additionally, going into the forest at Mosqueritos was also a wonderful experience since we got to see many different types of flora and fauna. We really enjoyed looking at the fungi and their beautiful colors. Finally, this topic helped us reflect on the impact that differences among people have. Most of us agree with the fact that going to war was an unnecessary thing to do, but that is because we do not belong to any political party, unlike the people that participated in the war. However, that is not an excuse for violence.
