Percy Jackson: Finished!
Storyboard Text
- Our story begins with twelve-year-old Percy Jackson who attends Yancy Academy, a boarding school for "troubled kids."
- THE ORDINARY WORLD
- "Am I a troubled kid? Yea, I guess you could say that."
- "It's okay, really. I like Peanut Butter!"
- Percy feels out-of-place at Yancy. When Nancy throws pieces of her lunch at his best friend, Grover, Percy is REALLY mad.
- "I could KILL her!"
- Ha!
- During one of Yancy Academy's field trips, Percy somehow "pushes" Nancy into the founation. Mrs. Dodds, a teacher, pulls him away from the others. She turns into a fury and tries to kill Percy, but Mr. Brunner throws Percy a sword he uses to kill Mrs. Dodds
- "What ho, Percy!"
- "Die, honey!!"
- One day Percy hears a mysterious conversation between Grover and Mr. Brunner. He realizes he is in danger. Percy is expelled from school and goes home. His stepfather, Gabe, treats him rudely, but his mother is gentle and kind.
- Uh, no.
- Hey, kid, you got any change?
- "Come on, Gabe, he's just a kid."
- Percy and his mom go to Montauk for a trip when Grover shows up at the cabin they are staying at, without any pants. Grover, Percy, and his mom must run off to get Percy to safety as they are pursued by the Minotaur. Grover is actually a satyr. (goat from waist down)
- I can't go any farther! Percy, take Grover and run!
- Percy awakens to find himself at camp Half-Blood Hill. He is tended to by Grover, Mr. Brunner, and Annabeth.
- "You drool in your sleep."
- Percy! You're awake!
- After a few days of camp Half-Blood, Percy feels right at home. One day, after capture-the-flag, it is announced that he is the son of Poseidon, the sea god.
- Yeah, Percy!
- All hail Percy Jackson, son of the sea god!
- Here, Percy. I want you to have these. Good luck. See, they fly. Just say Maia!
- Percy accepts a quest to find Zeus's lost Master Bolt. Annabeth and Grover accompany him. Before they leave, Chiron (Mr. Brunner) and Luke see them off.
- Gee, thanks Chiron! Thanks, Luke!
- That pen changes into the sword you used to slay Mrs. Dodds, Percy
- Oh no! The three furies enter the bus Percy and his friends are taking. Before long, a whole catastrophe is going on and Percy, Grover, and Annabeth flee the scene.
- PERCY JACKSON!
- Guys, we have to run!
- Auntie Em makes beautiful statues, doesn't she? Here, my children, how about a bite to eat?
- Kind old lady "Auntie Em" is really the monster Medusa in disguise. After supplying them with supper, Medusa revels here true identity and the kids must fight: Without ever looking at her face!
- Poor Uncle Ferdinand!
- Open your eyes, Percy.
- Wait, how come no one notices these things? There are centaurs running around outside and no one seems to notice them.
- Mist. We put it over the humans eyes, and that pretty much makes odd things fit into their reality. You know, so they don't start freaking out.
- Percy ends up fighting Echinda and Chimera, and jumping off the golden arch into the water. Luckily, he's okay, but a mysterious water spirit offers him three pearls, each which will save ONE person.
- Mom?
- Wait, am I BREATHING?
- "No, child, only a messenger." You will be alright. Here, I have a gift for you.
- Percy and his friends buy some food and try to relax. That's when Ares the war god shows up with a challenge for them.
- Wait, you're Clarisse's dad, Ares!
- No way .
- "Hey, punk, could I ask you a favor?
- Uh, Annabeth? Are you SURE about this?
- RIDE OF LOVE!
- Percy and Annabeth try to retrieve Are's shield from and old amusement which will be anything but a smooth ride.
- No.
- Free me, lord.
- Humane Zoo Transport
- Please free them, Percy.
- The three decide to "re group" at a hotel for a night- all expenses paid! After all, a few wasted hours won't hurt...right?
- Gee, this is GREAT!
- YEAH!
- Uh, hi. Could we talk to your boss?
- Then, things take a turn for the worst when the trio spends WAY too much time at that weird hotel. Now they are in the under-world, there is NO turning back.
- "Uncle, there can't be a war between the gods. It would be really...bad."
- Foolish boy. I know why you are here. You are here to barter for your mother.
- Mom!
- Percy looks through his bag and finds... the master-bolt?
- Ah, the three pearls. One only saves one person. Which will you pals will you trade for your mom, or will it be you?
