- I'm off to the shop, We need to get food for the winter.

- May I have four horseshoes please, My old ones are worn out.

- Welcome! What shall I make for you today?
- Alright! Four horseshoes, I'll get that done as son as possible.
- Work 2
- Great thank you!
- Your horseshoes are finished!
- Only White males in the Middle colonies worked, they normally worked as merchants, traders or shop owners.
- School
- At a blacksmiths shop people would come in and ask for the blacksmith to make what they needed.
- Land
- After a few days when the blacksmith was done the consumer would come back and pick up what they needed.
- Politics/ Government
- *A few days later*
- Also, I forgot to tell you, someone came by today apparently there's a new law, he said that anyone who can vote needs to.
- Only boys got an education, some kids couldn't go to school though. If they were from a poor family or a female they wouldn't go to school.

- In the Middle colonies they had shops and houses that was normally all the land they had.
- Great, maybe he could learn a thing or two. The shop is doing very well, I just finished making FOUR horseshoes! At this rate we could get a bigger house or get some more land.
- Welcome back darling, I sent William to school today. How is the shop doing?
- In the middle colonies they voted for laws and political things (ex. governor).
- Oh, I heard about that I should head out soon then.
