Starting High School.

- Daniel is a ordinary kid. He is starting High School this year. He is half nervous and half excited. Daniel is walking into his new school for the first time. He is now really nervous.
- He does not recognise anyone from his primary or from his neighbourhood. His mum said to him “everything will be ok” Daniel walked around the playground on the first day and got a nervous vibe. This was no ordinary vibe as he has been feeling this nervous vibe all summer.
- Daniel felt sad. It looked liked everyone knew each other and were having great chats about what they did in the holidays and Daniel was sitting alone.
- Daniel came home and went straight to his room. The next day Daniel joined the Oz tag team. He thought this would be a good chance to make friends. As the weeks went by Daniel still did not make any friends. A good thing was that school camp soon. He could really make some new friends on camp. Daniel is looking forward to camp as his mum said she met friends on her year 7 camp.
- It was the night of camp. Daniel did not know anyone in his cabin. Then there was a boy named Ben who walked in the room. Ben said hi to Daniel. Daniel said hi back. That night they were both talking about their favourite rugby team and their favourite tv show! They have so much in common!
- As they went back to school they would hang out with each other all the time. Daniel made more friends as well! Daniel was very happy at high school now.
