- what is that
- i think it's a ghost what else could it be
- its all right i am here don't be afraid
- he could see the boat he told his disciple to bring, but it was very far out, the wind had taken them faster across the lake then usual. he could of floan across the river but instead he discided to walk across the lake because he discided he could teach he disciples something.
- lord if it's really you, then tell me to come to you across the water
- come
- jesus had finnaly crossed enough that he could see all of his disciples each on the boat. All of a sudden one the disciples said, "What is that!" He pointed out into the water and all the disciples turned around to see what was out there.
- all of his disciples had come to one side of the boat to see the strange thing and then the boat got a bit tipsy so a few of the disciples ran to the other side to steady the boat. jesus could see and hear the confusion, he shook his head and called out to his disciples.
- you have such little trust in me, why did you doubt me
- lord save me
- the disciples felt silly thinking that there teacher was a ghost. then peter replied
- you really are the sun of god
- the disciples watched carefully as peter got out of the boat and walked towards jesus, Peter watched Jesus at first, but then started noticing the wind and the small waves on the water and looked around with worry.
- as soon as peter started to become scared, he started to sink. jesus reached out his hand to catch him before he was fully submerged in water. Peter walked to the boat with Jesus by His side and wondered to himself why he got so afraid. He knew that Jesus could do anything, it seemed that as soon as he took his eyes off Jesus he started to think about other things and that is when he began to sink.
- as soon as jesus got into the boat people started worshiping him saying.
- When they had crossed the lake to the other side people began to recognize Jesus again. The people from that area told their friends, and they told their friends and soon people were coming from all over to see Jesus. They brought all the sick people to him and begged to touch the corner of his long coat because all who touched him were healed.
