- Lee Jung is 10 years old and she came from Korea recently,Today is her first day at school and she is feeling very nervous. She feels this way because she thinks she looks very different to everyone else.

- Hey, my name is Lee Jung. I'm new to the school and I come from Korea.
- Lee Jung arrived at North Brook Public school.She introduces herself to the class and they do it back.
- Welcome Lee Jung!!!
- Hey Lee Jung! My name is Fatima, welcome to our school.
- And I'm Antoinette I come from France.
- I'm so excited to see what you guys are going to bring!
- It's lunch time, and the students want to get to know each other better so Fatima invites her class to her house after school.They need to bring their favourite cultural foods.
- The class go out for lunchtime and Fatima invites her class to her house after school so they can get to know each other more. Everyone has to bring their favourite cultural food with them.

- Everyone arrived at Fatima`s house with their cultural foods. It is time to go inside to see what everyone brought.
- Marhabaan, my name is Fatima and I come from Morocco. My favourite Moroccan dish is Couscou.It is made of teeny tiny balls of semolina.It is a tradition to eat it on Fridays.
- Annyeong, my name is Lee Jung and I come from Korea as you all know.I brought Bibimbap with me today.Us Koreans normally eat it on New Years eve.
- Marhaba, my name is Mohammed and I come from Lebanon.Lebanon is known for its delicious foods but my favourite is kibbeh and we eat it nearly everyday.
- Halo, I'm Hector and I come from Scotland.I brought Scotch pies with me. They are one of the most favourite meals here.
- This book teaches children all about multiculturalism and how we share diversity between different people.Multiculturalism is where all cultures reunite as one.We should learn to not judge others based on looks, ethnicity, race, gender etc.Reading about other cultures and identities can remind students of both similarities and differences in humans.No matter who we are, we all have dreams, hopes and fears but we are all equal.
