- Why is every one staring at me?
- Billy has the dog blues.Thats when you want a dog.It happens in every boys life.Just, he dosen't want one, he wants two.
- Go get them little ann and old dan!
- The only problem,is that his family can't afford it.He is wondering how to get enough money to get is dogs.
- We won the competition!
- He now has enough money to get his dog's.He made all his money selling raccoon skin to fisher,hunters, and hikers.
- He got his dog's from the city.Now he likes to hunt with his dogs.They are very loyal dogs.
- Eventually he started to compete against others.His first competition he won in freezing cold snow!
- One day he went hunting with his dog's.His dogs did not seem like them self.
- Lets go hunting!
- His dogs knew there was a, mountain lion prawling around them!they all were fighting for their life!
- Until the lion lay dead on the ground.His dogs were with him till the end. Wich was soon for the dogs.

- As they drive away from their house they see a red fern in the distant's between the dogs graves.It was a sad day both his dogs died in front of his eyes.
