- Paul the Produce Guy recalled an experience he had over 30 years ago...
- I was working at a grocery store in Illinois. I had a piece of broccoli in my hand when I saw aliens abduct a baby out of a shopping cart. I put the broccoli down on the display and I chased after them but they got away. When I returned to the display, the piece of broccoli was gone. I've always wondered what became of it. I believe that piece of broccoli was you Nick.
- PAUL : I don't know, but when they ran out of the store they yelled...
- Long live Ronald Reagan!
- SHARON : Do you think the aliens you saw abduct my baby brother out of a shopping cart 30 years ago are the same right-wing aliens who want to take us to planet Zorgon?
- Pieces of the puzzle were coming together. Things were starting to make sense now. Sharon's mother had substituted a piece of broccoli for her son after he had been abducted out of a shopping cart by right-wing aliens from planet Zorgon over 30 years ago. The next step was clear...
- I'm right here
- We have to find Nick.
- Sharon and her mother left the market and returned to the motel. Tomorrow they would venture out to find Sharon's brother whom Sharon's mother had replaced with a piece of broccoli over 30 years ago. Nick went to see a psychiatrist.
- You spend your whole life wondering who you are, and then there comes a day, when you look in the mirror and you see yourself staring back... and on that day, you discover something about yourself that you already knew but were too scared to admit. You're a piece of broccoli.
- Sharon, Nick, and their mother secured passage on a trolley car bound for Illinois, determined to confront the right-wing aliens and demand the return of Sharon's little brother, whom they had abducted, and whom Sharon's mom had replaced with a piece of broccoli over 30 years ago. They were met on the platform by a familiar face.
- Paul the produce guy?
- Sharon, her mother, Paul the Produce Guy, and a piece of broccoli who believed he was Sharon's brother Nick, arrived in Illinois and headed to the last known whereabouts of the aliens... Sharon's backyard. The aliens were there waiting.
- What have you done with my brother Nick?
- I thought you might need some help.
- I'm right here.
