- Who knew what to expect when we had to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic? Many positive changes occurred in the family during the lockdown. Parents and children began spending more time together, doing more family - oriented activities such as board games, baking and even gardening. Many families were reminded of the importance of human contact, and learnt to appreciate the little things such as calling their grandparents to check up on them. It is one aspect that hopefully does not change when the pandemic is over.
