The kayak moves through the water at a constant SPEED and because there is little friction, it stays in motion.
Also when I row backwards, the boat moves forward which shows Newton's Third Law of Motion.
This explains Newton's First Law of Motion.
When the kayak hits the a rock suddenly, my body wants to continue moving forward. This results in me falling forwards because my body has INERTIA.
An object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
When I hit two balls with different MASSES with the same FORCE....
The acceleration of an object depends on the net force acting on the object and the objects mass.
This helps show Newton's Second Law of Motion in motion.
The ball with less MASS will ACCELERATE faster then the ball with more MASS, according to Newton's Second Law of Motion.
When I push off of THE MOON, THE MOON applies an equal amount of FORCE back to me in the opposite direction.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
This shows Newton's Third Law of Motion
Also because there is no GRAVITY pulling me to another larger object, Newton's First Law states that I will continue to float until I hit something, creating an unbalanced force.
This allows me to jump off THE MOON and float in OUTER SPACE.
