Starr does an interview with a women named Ofrah about the Khalil situation and explains how he was the complete opposite of what the media portrayed him as. Later on she testifies in court against the officer in hopes of indicting the officer. Days pass and the court rules in favor of the officer, not indicting him

After the courts decision goes public riots ensue in the neighborhoods Starr grew up in. Angered protestors take to the streets lootng business' and yelling at the riot patrols in anger. Starr performs a speech in front of everyone there saying how until there is proof of justice for black people, they will continue riotin. The crowd chants "Khalil Lived" just before tear gas is thrown into the crowd
Starr revieves a call from Ofrah apologizing for putting her in danger at the protests. She speaks on how Starr could have a career in activism, knowing that with Starr's help, there might be change in not only their community, but maybe even the country. Starr knows that all the hate that was at the riot hurt everyone, and she knows they have to figure out a way to fix it
