Wait, what is he being exactly accused of? He should be put in front of the Sanhedrin.
“How dare you insult God’s high priest!”
“My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.”
“We find nothing wrong with this man"
This man is going to be ambushed. We need to do something.
Paul was proclaiming the power of God and then he was arrested for blasphemy. The Commander wanted to find out exactly why Paul was being accused of blasphemy, so he had him stand before a judge.
Paul was put on trial and spoke his innocence to the Pharisees. Then there was a great division between the Sadducee and the Pharisees since the Pharisees found Paul innocent.
Later that night, Jesus came to Paul and told him to have courage. A large group of men that were against Paul formed an oath that they would not eat anything until they kill Paul. They were ready to ambush Paul. Luckily, Paul's sister's son heard what was about to happen and warned Paul about it. They then went to the commander and told him what was about to happen to Paul.
