- Where did peasants live
- What do they eat and drink
- What did the peasants do for work?
- The peasants were the poorest people in the midevil ages lived in a poor village with shacks.
- The women and the children?
- The average peasant diet would consist large portions of barley, they would make dark breads and portage soups. They mostly drank water and beer
- What do they do for fun?
- Each peasant family had their own strips of land however the peasants worked cooperatively on tasks such as plowing and haying, they were also expected to build roads, and clear forests.
- Where did they sleep?
- While the man were out working the children and the women stayed home.Instead of formal schooling, children learned to farm, grow food and tend to livestock, or would become an apprentice to a local craftsperson such as a blacksmith or tailor. Young girl would also learn to do domestic activities, with their mothers such as, spooling wool on wooden wheels to make blankets and cloths.
- Most of the peasants would gather together in the center of town, they played games like “ skittles” it is described to be like a more modern bowling, they would drink, and also work on chores
- Peasants had mattresses stuffed with straw, wool, rags and feathers, which could be rolled up and tidied away during the day, while the poorest people slept simply on straw or hay
