- Samson and Gregory are walking through the street talking about fighting and down talking the montage family.

- Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
- I bite my thumb.
- Suddenly Abram and another Montague servant walks up to them before he reaches Samson and Gregory, Samson speaks “ Nay as they dare. I will bite my thumb at them, which is a disgrace to them if they bare it.”

- Part you fools!
- They start fighting until Benvolio interrupts them.

- You've pulled out your sword to fight these servants?
- I do but keep the peace.
- Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin enters the scene and he speaks of his hate of peace, he wants to fight the Montagues and threatens to kill all Montagues.

- You're not taking one step towards an enemy.
- Capulet, you villain!Dont stop me. Let me go!
- They fight and many other citizens enter the fight, the Monatgue family enter along with the Capulet family.

- You rebels! Enemies of the peace! Three times now riots have broken out in the streets. If this happens again you will both be executed!
- Prince Escalus enters with his escort and gives a speech where he threatens to execute them all if they disturb the peace of the streets of Verona again.
