I was born in 1630. My father was a sugar trader from Colombia who met my mother in Brazil. They named me Sophia Cardoso

I had one elder sister. She died because of Measles when I was 5.

My parents had a friend whose daughter, Giovanna Santos was a trader of Brazilwood

They wanted me to join their daughter as a trader

So, in September 19 1655 I went to Giovanna's house to greet her. . We decided to board a ship to Britain in December 16 1655. While we went to the port to board the ship we saw a lot of slaves were imported from Africa for sugar, gold mining, and later, agriculture in Amazonia.

It was a 20 days journey. we went their to enhance our trade of Brazilwood and cotton

This slave trade should be abolished

Yes, it should

But during our journey a terrible misfortune happend. A storm blew up and our ship sank. I was left unconsious.

When I opened my eyes I saw trees everywhere. I roamed around it I coudn't recognise the place. I felt very thirsty so I went to the river. I dipped my hand in the river and felt a pain in my hand. When I took it out from the water some flesh of my palm was gone. I bent down and saw a familiar fish in the water. It was the Piranha. I realized that I was in the Amazon rainforest.

Oh god please save me.
