- The colonist that you sent of to the Americas are creating thier own government!!
- The colonist would have meetings to decide their own laws so they would be equal and fair and didn't have one person deciding everything.

- the colonist still viewed themselves as English citizens, but with every new generation, they grew further apart from their English roots.
- when they got to the Americas
- the king was starting to lose power over the colonists which would lead to the people rebelling against him and starting the Revolutionary war
- Were they were used
- The people that were captured and taken had to endure the worst conditions possible. they were cramped at the bottom of the ship, they had no room to move and they couldn't get up to go to the bathroom so disease spread like wildfire.
- After, they were taken to plantations where they would be considered property. Only the biggest and strongest of the slaves would survive those horrible conditions
- Slaves were used for growing cash crops like Tabaco and Cotton. They were most used in the south because that was the best soil for growing crops
