- They wanted to lower taxes.The Enlightenment introduced new ideas and things for them. the people couldn't afford food. Most of france had an economic crisis, the french was deep in debt. But the rich kept using the money for things that were not useful.

- Many people Attacked Paris. The king and queen were executed by guillotines. The limited monarchy was changed to a legislative assembly.

- The king and queen were overthrown and kicked out. And political power was taken away from the Catholic church. Also Napoleon became the new dictator for france

- The motive of this revolution was because the French colonist enslaved many of the Haitians. And they treated them poorly and would give out harsh punishments

- Napoleon sent his army to take Haiti back. Toussaint L'Ouverture again led the Haitians to fight.t later on France, Britain, and Spain sent their armies to Haiti to stop the deaths. But they kept killing the French. They won the revolution.

- Haiti became an independent country. Toussaint L'Ouverture passed away but slavery was over. And the revolution was won.
