- did you know fun fact about imam shafiee is known as muhammad bin idris al-shafiee and he is the only imam who related to the prophet muhammad as he belonged to the qurasyhi tribe of banu mutalib. moreover some of the sources say that he memorised the quran at the age of seven and at the age of two he moving to mecca with his mother. imam shafiee also traveled broad to learn from various scholars and to refine his understanding of islamic of law. he travels took thim to yemen, baghdad and egypt where he engaged with scholars from imam hanafi and imam maliki schools.

- did you know that imam shafiee was born in ghaza palestine? he was born in the year of 150 ad and died in 19 january 820 ad. another fun fact about imam shafiee is his significant contribution to islamic in law which is al-risalah plus he can memorised the famous book by imam malik only in nine days

- imam shafiee in his early education was marked by poverty because of which his mother could not afford to pay fees for his education. consequently, instead of participating in the classes, the young imam would just sit on the side lines and take it all in only by listening to what his teacher to other student in the class. he became so adapt at the learning and storing knowledge even though just by listening to it.
