Storyboard Text
- The fourth boy, with doubts, chooses the fourth path, "immortality". Although the title promises, the path looks desolate and depressing, as if it were the worst option. The fearful boy proceeds along the path, albeit somewhat soaked.
- It seems like I have to get soaked, a little unfair but who cares, as long as I obtain immortality a few raindrops won't be a problem.
- La Inmortalidad
- At the end of the path, there is a sunset by the sea. The wind whispers how cold loneliness is. A small sneeze from the boy quiets the tide. Wondering if he has achieved immortality, the boy decides to swim farthest from the shore. Unable to return due to the current, he "dies"; however, he begins to breathe underwater as if he were a fish-man.
- "It's incredible, the path fulfilled what I desired, but I feel like something is wrong. Never mind, I'll tell my family."
- It can be appreciated that the young man is now an elderly gentleman, a side effect of immortality. His appearance will age more rapidly; however, he is not aware of this for now.
- "As expected, nothing improved for the boy. He lived for five billion years, perhaps not the best life but certainly the longest. He saw all his loved ones die, never married or had children, but he achieved goals that would be impossible for an ordinary person. For instance, he learned all the languages of the planet. When humanity made contact with aliens, he was the only astronaut qualified to go, as no one else dared to undertake this feat."
