- We are not going to let the British tax us without us colonists having someone to represent us in Parliament.
- The Proclamation of 1763 made an imaginary line across the Appalachian Mountains.And no colonists could go on the west side of the Appalachian Mountains.Colonists ignored this Proclamation.

- Britain put the tax on sugar lower because people smuggled it and was going to start enforcing it.Then the stamp act came which put a tax on legal documents,newspaper,playing cards,and dice.Britain was paying this but this was new to the colonies.The colonists though weren't to happy about this.

- From the colonists getting taxed by the British without them having a voice in the parliament or the group making the law went against the Magma Carter,so they can't tax them.This caused colonists to riot,send petitions to king George lll,and boycott British goods.
- Boston Tea Party
- JUST THE TEA!!!
- After the colonists boycotted British goods British workers started to complain , so Parliament repealed the stamp act, but declared they could tax anything they wanted too.In 1767 Parliament passed this act taxing glass , paper,paint,lead, and tea.
- Our workers is saying the colonies are boycotting our goods
- They want you to sign and approve it
- Parliament is thinking to repeal the Stamp Act but add the Townshend Acts taxing glass,paper,lead,and tea.
- The Boston Massacre started from all the rioting and boycotting. This was a fight between the red coats and the Boston colonist.5 people died in this battle.
- The Boston Tea Party was an event where Boston colonists dressed up as Indians and threw tea in the Boston Harbor.They did this because of the tax on tea.They weren't mad at the tax they were mad they had no say in Parliament and they could just tax them when they have no representation.
