  • Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva should be banned from the Olympics because she cheated, and that was unfair the the other athletes.
  • That makes sense, but she was only fifteen. It would also be very unfair to her if she couldn't compete because she didn't realize she was cheating.
  • While it probably wasn't her fault, she still should not be able to compete. Sha'Carri Richardson,an Olympic sprinter, was not allowed to compete after also testing positive for drugs. The only difference between them? This skater was white, but the sprinter was black. There shouldn't be a difference between them, so the skater should've been also not able to compete.
  • I haven't heard about that.
  • I don't believe that because how does somebody accidentally ingest a pill?
  • Many credible news sources have said that she 'accidentally took her grandfather's pill."
  • She was suspended by a from skating anywhere in competitions about a week before the Olympics before she was cheating, but then Russia suddenly lifted that ban - probably because they wanted her to go and cheat her way to the gold.
  • She should've also not been able to compete for her own sake. During her free skate, she falls many times, and then at the end, her coach is clearly very mad at her. This could've been avoided if she wouldn't have competed.
  • While I see your point, I believe that she should compete also for her own sake because if she didn't compete, her coach would've gotten mad at her also if she didn't compete. A terrible performance is better than no performance.
