- Gilgamesh was the king of Uruk. He only cared about himself. Not only was he a king,he was two-thirds god and one third mortal.He was fast enough to to dive down deep in the ocean and back in one breath. And yet,he was not able to live forever.He was very cranky.

- Go back,little man!
- The gods decided that Gilgamesh needed a challenge.They created a man that was stronger than Gilgamesh, He was Enkidu.They battled and neither one was strong enough to beat the other.They became friends.They went off to the forest to battle creatures.

- The forest was forbidden because of its gardiain, the evil demon Humbaba. Gilgamesh and Enkidu hid from him, but his evil teasing made them mad and they ran into him. Gilgamesh was about to cut his head off when he cast a spell on Enkidu, shortly after he died.

- Gilgamesh was sad, he had heard about the plant that gave everlasting life and set out to find it. After 40 days and 40 nights, Gilgamesh came to a pass n the mountains guarded by two demon scorpions.

- Gilgamesh came across a castle with a large boat next to it.The king told him the story of his boat.They invited him to sleep six days and six nights. On the seventh day the king and Queen told him where he could find the tree of everlasting life.Was the ocean.
- Gilgamesh went to the deepest part of the ocean with lots of rocks. He then faced the gaint octopus, with one rock he knocked out the octopus. And he went down and grabbed a branch. Then he went back up.
