- The couple begged Panchito's mother and father to buy something from them
- The night before Christmas
- When the couple showed the leather wallet, Panchito's father declined, but the couple were very persistent.
- Christmas
- When the couple offered a handkerchief, Panchito's mother thought that the handkerchief was very beautiful. The couple said that they were broke, but Panchito's father said that he was broke too and left. emptyhanded.
- Tears
- When Panchito's mother thought everyone was sleeping, she wrapped the presents in butcher wrapping. Panchito tried to see, but his mother was blocking the view.
- The handkerchief
- When Panchito and his sibling were opening the presents they got a jar of candy. Panchito wished for a ball and were very disappointed.
- Panchito's mother's eyes were full of tears because she couldn't give the kids what they wanted.
- Panchito's father gave Panchito's mother the beautiful handkerchief. Panchito's mother was very surprised and happy.
