- Five minutes later, the group heres police sirens. The police park themselves outside the bar and head in, yet the man and woman are still gone.

- The cops already see that the waiter's white shirt is stained and find a bloodstained knife nearby. The waiter tries to explain his innocence, but the cops don't listen. "Little reason to kill someone unless it's for money." The two cops take the waiter away.

- The mysterious man gets up and watches in silence. He wants to do something, but he is afraid, powerless.

- The waiter sees the man and the woman in the red dress watching. He points to them out and shouts: “There they are! They are the ones who killed the man outside!"
- The man and the woman observe the situation, smiling, and hand a large amount of money to the police. The police pocket the money and leave with the innocent waiter.
- All is quiet. The mysterious man is alone in the restaurant. He cries at the injustice he sees.
