- The first Anglo rebellion in Texas is unsuccessful and crushed by Mexico and Stephen F. Austin and his men.

- This Law made it illegal to move to Texas from The United States.
- The Goliad Massacre
- This battle was important because the Mexicans wanted their cannon back and Texas kept it from the Mexicans. Texas won this battle
- Battle of San Jacinto

- The texans laided under fire for 90 minutes and everyone Texan died there. This is where the famous "remeber the alamo" battle cry originated
- James Fannin and his men were captured at the Battle of Coleto Creek, they brought him and his men back to Goliad and killed Fannin and his men.

- After burning a nearby bridge to trap Santa Anna, Sam Houston and his men attacked the Mexicans and won. Santa Anna was found hiding in a group of captured soldiers later the next day
