Hi there, I appreciate your help! I'm Joanna, I need a advice on plant propagation for my tomatoes and eggplants

Greetings! I'm Lia, you seem to be new, need any help?

A new famer..? I should talk to them! Maybe they need help.

Lia is a experienced argiculturist, one day, she saw a new farmer who just started, they're asking for your advice on how they can propagate their fruit-bearing plants and trees..

What will she do..?

Sure thing! I can help and give you a advice, I suggest trying the Grafting Method, it's really helpful.

Really? But how does that work?

First, make a four 3-inch vertical incisions through the rootstock's bark, starting at the top. Slip a small rubber band stopping just below these vertical cuts. Then, separate the bark from the wood. Peel the bark down in four 3-inch-long flaps.

Prepare the scion by trimming 1/2 inch off the bottom to show fresh, green wood. Slice a shallow, 2-inch cut into the wood at the bottom end of the scion. Then, place the cut end of the scion inside the four flaps, after that, secure the graft.

Then, protect the graft by wrapping it with a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil, then a piece of plastic. And lastly, tape the plastic around the graft using a masking tape , new buds should appear within 15-30 days.
